The
Good Shepherd Housing foundation was organized and founded by the Good
Shepherd Lutheran Church Social Concerns Committee in 1989. Since then
we have become a private 501c3 non profit corporation supported by
concerned people, businesses and churches.
We began by providing permanent supportive housing for
5 single adults in the Shepherd Homes Program. In 2006 we are providing
housing and supportive services for 53 adults and children in three
housing programs, the
Shepherd Homes Program, the
Housing Partnership
Program and the
Transitional Housing Partnership Program.

is dedicated to providing
transitional and permanent supportive housing solutions for persons with
chronic low income due to, lack of education, low wage work,
mental/physical disabilities, teenage/single parenthood, HIV Aids and age.
